Starting from water, a global resource that will become increasingly important in the evolution of any country, Safet has accumulated thousands of cubic metres of experience and works undertaken with absolute reliability to deal with this vital element in the best possibile way.
Designing, building and supplying dams, reservoirs and plants all over the world (in impervious, arid and geologically complex areas), providing not only materials and technology but also human resources.

One huge project that deserves particular mention is the construction of the dam at Tarbela, Pakistan, the construction of which the Company contributed to as Impregilo’s sub-contractor : 7 years of work and Italian materials (120,000 tonnes of shaped steel and 55,000 tonnes of ribs for penstocks) for a dam to produce electricity, and above all, irrigation for agriculture, an essential element for the life of the Country.
